Information on the personal data processed through our website under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

1. Data controller
Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by AQUASEAL YAPI LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“AquaSeal”) as data controller, as described below.

3. Purposes
- Receiving and assessing your information, survey and quotation requests and responding to you,
- Carrying out preparations for entering into a service contract,
- Securing the website and preventing misuse (spam, attacks),
- Fulfilling legal obligations and responding to requests from competent authorities.
4. Legal grounds and method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact form and cookies on our website, and processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: (c) it is directly related to entering into or performing a contract; (ç) it is necessary for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation; and (f) it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Non-essential cookies are only used with your explicit consent (see the Cookie Policy).
5. Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes above, to our website hosting and e-mail service providers, our legal advisers and, upon request, competent public authorities, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. Where a provider's servers are located abroad, transfers are made in line with the conditions of Article 9.
6. Retention
Data submitted through the contact form is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and for the limitation periods set by law for potential disputes, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
- To learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
- To know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Turkey or abroad,
- To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and deletion or destruction under Article 7, and notification of these actions to recipients,
- To object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis,
- To claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
You can submit requests regarding your rights in writing to our address above, or from your registered e-mail address to info@aquasealyapi.com, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
